death valley national park

I know that next on the timeline of catching up with posts is our wedding but I tried writing it and I got too emotional. It was such a sacred day for us both that it’s going to take a few days to fully relay all that I want to so for now… our quest for visiting all 59 national parks.

For Andrew’s birthday, I got him this national park map and this year, 2016 so happens to be their centennial year. We made it a goal to visit at least 30% of them (realistically with school and work) during their special year. Apart, the both of us have been to a decent amount of np’s but we wanted to start from scratch marking them down together.

So… death valley – america’s physical inferno. Except that we went in february and there was actually snow and we almost froze that night because we definitely weren’t anticipating that kind of weather. Neither of us had been there so all day we were just aimlessly exploring. A vast park for sure.
